From Switzerland to Scandinavia

On 6 June 2022 we restarted our journey with a changed route (because borders were still closed and because of various conflicts along the Silk Road). The plan was to ride through Germany, Denmark, Sweden, Norway and Finland and fly to Australia from there at the end of September 2022.

Fate really threw a wrench in our plans—after just one month, we became seriously ill with Long COVID.
Since neither the doctors nor we were yet aware of the seriousness of the situation, it took another two months before we had to admit that it just wasn't working out and, with a heavy heart, we had to cut the trip short.
